Portrait Pricing
Portrait sittings, whether for individuals, families, pets, high school seniors or executive portraiture, are typically done on location – either in your home, place of business or at any other location of your choosing. If the location venue chosen by the client charges a fee to allow photography, the client bears responsibility for paying those fees directly at the time of the photography session. Location sitting fees are $200 for one subject (person or animal) and $250 for two or more subjects (additional subjects may include family members, pets, etc.). Depending on the client’s goal and the nature of the location, the session usually takes about an hour but can run longer. A maximum of two hours are allotted for this session. Time spent beyond these two hours is billed at $25 per additional 15 minute increment. Round trip mileage in excess of 50 miles is charged at $1 per mile.
These sessions include either 1 unmounted 11×14 photograph or 1-8×10 and 2-5×7 photographs. In lieu of these choices, a $50 credit can be applied to a slide-show video, any wall size mounted print (16×20 or larger), or a $75 discount towards any canvas mounted wall-sized print. Additional photographs are available at the prices published at that time. I use only the finest professional color labs in the country for printing to insure gallery quality archival processing. I also work with printers and other vendors who are “green”, using practices and processes which minimize impact on the environment, for my clients who prefer such alternatives. Standard retouching (exposure tuning, color correction, blemish removal, etc.) of images is included in the price of the images. Special treatment of images such as painting, “hair implants” or enhanced artwork, Giclée printing, mounting, canvas wraps and framing are also available.
