I am committed to donating the value of 20% of all net profits from my wedding photography to missions and other worthy charity work. These donations will be in the form of money, time and service made to ongoing missions which have proven to be consistently good stewards of the resources they receive, and who serve the physical, emotional and/or spiritual needs of those they serve.

Due to changing needs and opportunities (such as time-limited donation matching offers), donation recipients will be determined in good faith solely by Kevyn Schneider. Schneider Weddings will honor your preferences for secular vs. religious affiliated charities. Supported charities include but are not limited to the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation, Operation Smile (a PPA Charity), Friends of Texas Wildlife, the USO, Snowball Express, The Wounded Warrior Project, Star of Hope, Houston Food Bank, Lutheran World Relief, LCMS World Missions, CCCI, World Vision, Samaritan’s Purse, Speed The Light, and similar service and mission organizations.

I have a real heart for Africa, especially for those suffering and dying from persecution in the Sudan, and for my brothers and sisters in Kenya who are rebuilding the Springs of Life Church and Medical Clinic in Kibera, which was burned in post-election tribal violence. Kibera is the largest slum in Africa, located within in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital. I will never forget the proud smile that little bald 4 year old girl flashed at me while pushing her only toy (a jar lid acting as a wheel with a coat hanger wire as an axle and handle) down the train tracks that cut through Kibera. Two of the largest health issues in Kenya are HIV and malaria. The Kibera slum has roughly the same population as Austin, Texas, crammed within about a square mile or two of space. You can see a satellite image of it below:
