Fun stuff!
Another fun bridal image of Laura. Most of the time a wedding photographer spends is not behind a camera but behind a computer keyboard and digital tablet. Taxes are done (still stinging from that!) and now getting around to uploading all the images to Laura and Rand’s Gallery – See them all HERE!
Thistles
I normally photograph people, and portraiture and wedding photography make up the major portion of the images I produce, including those I produce for charities. However, I also love nature photography. Last weekend I saw the most beautiful thistle plant I’ve ever seen. Just had to share it’s beauty.

Mercer Earth News
Wow, I just saw that Houston’s own Mercer Arboretum made the front page of Mother Earth News Online! Mercer is absolutely beautiful this time of year, and is a great place for location portraiture! See the Mother Earth News link below to read the article:
Justin & Jeff
Such a bummer when you get rained out in the middle of a Senior Portrait session! One thing I do is try to work fast to get some great images up front at the very beginning of the session. That way I can start the session with a few foundational images my clients are already in love with. We never got to a baseball diamond and had Justin get his uniform on, or get to a lake and get his scuba gear on. We started with an image telling the story of the relationship between father and son in the backdrop of one of their favorite shared activities. Many more to come!
